Gold Award

We are delighted to announce that Professor David Bellamy has awarded St Margaret’s Holiday Park the Gold accolade in the Conservation Award Scheme 2017/18.We had our annual inspection during the summer and have just received confirmation that we have been given the Gold award for the 13th consecutive year.

We are also officially a “Honey Bee Friendly” park. This is due to our new Bee Garden we constructed last winter which was planted with plants that attract bees.

We have also earned our first “5 in 5 badge”. This is because of the wildlife-friendly hedges around the park.We have a number of areas where we allow the grass to grow long so that wildflowers can grow therefore encouraging wildlife.
